Yinyang

A philosophy for helping a person pursue recursive self-improvement (RSI), with models, methods, and tools that bring it into practice.

Yinyang develops the project's philosophical account: a person works with generative models and a supporting environment to improve understanding, judgment, creation, and action—and to improve how those improvements are produced. Readable descriptions make purposes, relationships, and revision methods available for examination; shared work gives them practical form and returns consequences that can change them. The person and their actual supports are the center of this development. Its value is judged through the life and activities they want to sustain.

The essays develop this argument; reusable Skills and tools support its realization and retain their specialist purposes. Choose what to read and use

If literature, history, or philosophy is not your field, begin with selected Core views that speak to your questions. Consider their reasons and conditions, then use the relevant ideas to configure a personal environment that fits your purposes and circumstances. Follow an essay when you want its fuller argument; reading the whole collection or adopting all its positions is unnecessary.

Writing your own philosophy, essays, or public website is a choice of interest. You can use the ideas and maintain your environment without taking on a writing project. If writing appeals to you, An example and a commons opens that route. Practical beginnings are in Using the Tools.

For adoption, use the reference and method overview: Empty provides the recursive self-improvement method for forming your own content, through direct model condensation or assistance from a community project such as Hindsight. The philosophical essays remain available as reading material.

The personal-model condensation guide explains how these materials become descriptions of the person, the model counterpart needed, and their relationship. Joint work enters the world, and actual consequences revise understanding. Memory retains material and its origins; condensation organizes relevant meanings, conditions, and relations so available understanding can inform the next judgment and action.

Philosophy is a whole that can continue to be written. Literature, history, aesthetics, computing, and engineering can all supply material for understanding and condensation. Different views can be retained, compared, or combined without first joining one school. Accommodating conflict still distinguishes retained material, currently adopted understanding, and its consequences. Specialist methods and tools give the understanding usable forms; another person may develop an entirely different philosophy and environment.

Philosophy, psychology, and engineering: develop the missing connection

Philosophy articulates understanding and direction, psychology understands the particular person, and engineering realizes the relationship in a usable environment. These contributions support one another. Enter through available material and practice and develop the missing contribution; the person need not first complete three academic disciplines independently.

If a usable engineering environment is missing, develop it with the model. Files, retrieval, tools, execution, and verification make formation and continued use possible; the person need not first master engineering. The maintained starting conditions distinguish actual philosophical writing, psychological or life material, and working environments, singly and in pairs. They identify the next contribution without making formation closed stages. Installed configurations can reflect constraints, habits, or defaults, so tool inventory alone cannot establish the person. Philosophy, grounded accounts, and environment continue to revise one another. Skills in the collection

Yinyang provides Empty as its public method package for your own practice. It retains reverse alignment, crossed roles and Yinyang dialectics, six formation guides, and practical suggestions, with no docs or diagrams. Recipients and their models develop their own philosophy, Personal, and Situated content. The public package ships unfilled starters; actual personal material stays private.

Each member owns its entrypoint, methods, and supporting resources. Obtain the complete directory of the Skill you want to use and make it available through your model's actual Skill mechanism.

Yinyang supplies culture, thought, and reasoning forms; personal substance comes from authorized actual material and the consuming model's collaboration with the person. Its essays and diagrams belong inside skills/yinyang/references/. They are accessories of that Skill. Other members retain their own purposes and specialist methods; collection membership does not make them Yinyang references or impose its philosophy on their use. In a combined practice, Yinyang is an example of a user's philosophy, while other Skills supplement it with concrete abilities. Readers can choose their own combination and write a different philosophy around it.

The public packages preserve the shape and useful companion relationships of the working local methods. Read each package’s dependency and configuration guidance, download the companions needed for the selected task, and bind your own tools and environment. A companion Skill supplies a method, not automatic authentication, device access, or a running service. Private participant accounts, credentials, personal records, and host-specific bindings are excluded.

Maintenance and contributions

Read Conversation and independent works for publishing your own work, asking through Issues, or requesting a song from boluopai. This repository does not accept pull requests.

MODEL.md owns collection maintenance and publication boundaries; AGENTS.md orients contributors. Each Skill owns any further interpretation and maintenance instructions in its directory. English is primary; reader editions retain full semantic parity where provided.

Use Issues for questions, corrections, suggestions, and song requests to the author. Keep personal accounts and private source material with their actual owner. Only authorized reusable material belongs in this collection.

Original Yinyang material uses Yinyang Personal and Internal Use License 1.0, for personal and internal use, including paid-work assistance, with redistribution and external provision restricted; other reusable packages retain MIT.
