This collection contains independently licensed material. Public access does not extend one package's permission to another.

The website is a separate publication surface. Its Yinyang reading projections use the same Yinyang license. Other package projections retain their own terms. Website implementation source is not distributed in this repository. Site code, interface design, photographs, and recordings retain separately stated rights; neither the Yinyang nor collection MIT license automatically licenses them.

Yinyang: practical summary

You may download, privately copy, use, and modify Yinyang without individual approval, including to assist your paid work. Private backups and processing by a cloud or AI service solely on your behalf are permitted under the license. You may publish or sell independent outputs that do not reproduce protected Yinyang expression requiring permission. Your original work remains yours.

Without separate permission, you may not redistribute original or modified copies, mirror or republish the material, sell it, or provide it as a product or service for others to use. Share official links instead. Applicable legal exceptions and GitHub's public-repository platform permissions remain intact. The complete license governs, rather than this summary.

Earlier releases

Earlier releases included CC BY-SA 4.0, which permitted commercial reuse under its conditions, and CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, which permitted noncommercial sharing and adaptation. Valid earlier grants remain effective for the material they covered. The new license applies to copies expressly released under it from 2026-11-01; it does not make previously granted rights disappear. Repository deletion, history replacement, or removing downloads does not revoke those rights.
