How to describe and realize the environment

Use the six-account method to write and check this account. Explain how this collaboration takes working form through material, social, informational, and computational arrangements. Connect the adopted orientation, person, counterpart, and relationship to actual possibilities and consequences. In this Yinyang, the central relation to realize is the participants' passage between open generation and consequential scrutiny, with each able to return through the other's contribution. A configuration inventory says what exists; this account explains what it enables, for whom, under which conditions.

Include the directions needed to use, maintain, and change this environment. A Harness is its working arrangement of prompts, Skills, tools, interfaces, and operating conditions. Here the model's Harness and the person's environment are coupled, so the arrangement serves both participants. Explain what a change makes available to each: retrieval affects model continuation and the person's need to reconstruct context; presentation affects model delivery and human understanding and judgment. Realization belongs in this account: how understood relations become behavior, how to change that behavior, and how observed effects return to understanding. People and models can develop and use this guidance together; neither needs a finished theory before useful construction begins.

Give the relation a reachable working form

Start with activities the participants undertake and the points where a contribution depends on a resource, channel, or action route. A person may express an unfinished idea in speech; the counterpart receives a transcript, recovers a work, inspects sources, and writes or implements a result. Explain the passage among these contributions. The environment includes the person's attention, places, other people, and social evaluation where they affect the activity, as well as the computer through which contributions are realized.

Ground the account in current evidence. Identify maintained owners and usable locators. A human-visible file is not automatically model-readable; a named service is not automatically callable. An advisory contribution needs a route to its execution owner; an executable action needs observable readback. Capability, authentication, and authority remain with their actual owners.

Describe ordinary routes: where a selected text lives, how an explanation reaches the person, how both return to a disputed passage, how a project is recovered, and where a result can be inspected. State present gaps and conditions. The account should let its reader find and use the arrangement, without copying a complete configuration inventory.

Give this relation three connected supports: writing that preserves an understanding for reconsideration; interaction through which a contribution can reach and change the other participant's work; and resources through which the work becomes usable and meets independent consequences. Explain what each support enables in the actual setting.

Make the passage between whole and detail usable. A claim, its source or counterexample, and the changed result should be reachable without reconstructing the entire history. The model can carry the source checking while exposing grounds the person can question. A preview or editable draft can let the person's next contribution change the work; it need not become a compulsory approval step. Describe the actual channel and remaining cost, rather than adding machinery merely to represent the philosophical image.

Choose the focus and trace both directions

For local repair and whole-environment refresh, follow the revision guide's scope and connected-change guidance. Reading an account as evidence does not select it for rewriting. A substantive dependency can nevertheless require changing another account, Skill, or tool.

Derive behavior in context

Connect intended activity to an observable contribution:

understood process and relation → computational articulation → working realization → observed effects

observed effects → examine meaning and realization → revised understanding

These dependencies do not prescribe a fixed order. Trying an interface can reveal a missing distinction; observing a result can change the chosen division of participation or the purpose itself. Either participant can propose, reason, object, and revise throughout this work.

For the part a computer will represent or act on, articulate relevant objects, events, states, conditions, and changes. What persists through revision? What changes when an operation succeeds? A “complete” state must correspond to the intended result under relevant conditions, rather than merely to a closing message. The account selects relations within activity; it does not exhaust the person or process represented. World, process, and expression develops these distinctions.

Clear natural language can give them usable computational form when a model actually interprets and acts on it. Typed data, equations, programs, or schemas help where use needs more precise conditions. Simulation additionally specifies how represented situations change under assumptions. Choose precision by the question and actual consumer; ordinary support need not simulate a whole person or activity. A literary image can disclose a relation without compiling losslessly into a universal prompt.

Purposes and preferences take working form through the model, tools, interfaces, and everyday conditions. The environment can participate in the person's extended selection capacity, including patterns made visible only through later comparison. Explain what operates, why it is understood that way, and how the person can reshape it. A chosen direction does not by itself establish tool availability or the effectiveness of a particular realization. Keep working concepts coherent enough to guide action while retaining conflicting evidence and unresolved alternatives. The Preference Harness essay develops this distinction between selecting a view and judging what follows from it. Ordinary cooperation needs no formal preference model or repair calculus.

Locate the passage that needs support

Understanding, retrieval, beginning, responding, stopping, and switching are different achievements. An explanation can clarify a relation while leaving the next action inaccessible. Describe the actual passage that needs support, the contributions involved, and where it fails. Keep a proposed route recognizable as a proposal until its availability and effects are established.

Consider a fictional return to an unfinished argument. The saved note accurately recalls the discussion, yet leaves the person to find the draft and reconstruct where to begin. The missing relation joins the open question, its passage in the current draft, and an available next contribution. More recap may preserve content without supplying that relation.

A fitting direction could ask the model to recover the question in the draft, explain the unresolved difference, and prepare or carry the next authorized contribution there. A direct passage link or editable opening can make it usable. If the purpose is to practice constructing the argument, comparing possible openings may fit better than a completed replacement. The instruction, interface, and allocation express the same relation; actual use tests whether they do so.

Attention, participation, and inquiry

Allocate contributions by actual capability, available channels, and wanted participation. A person may recognize a difficulty through use while the model reconstructs its dependencies; either can offer a better explanation. A chosen division does not establish either participant's incapacity.

Carry implementation choices that available evidence and model judgment can settle, make consequential differences intelligible, and obtain purpose or experience that remains genuinely unavailable. Reconcile complete instruction sources so incompatible old and new allocations do not survive together. Specialist inquiry and teaching methods judge when a question develops understanding or obtains a needed judgment; no question quota follows.

Check actual listening, speaking, reading, and writing channels where participation depends on them. A transcript and access to sound support different contributions. Assess the whole cost: a tool may save operations while adding setup, monitoring, supervision, handoff repair, or repeated context reconstruction.

Choose a fitting realization

Make the coupled system's working path concrete: what input reaches which participant, which description is interpreted, what tools or arrangements realize the change, and how its effects become available for comparison. Describe useful simulation resources already present, such as examples, sketches or prototypes, and the conditions they represent. Let actual use test the expected relation. Software can change immediately while bodily skill, habits and social relations develop through later participation; the environment account supplies these conditions to evaluation and revision.

Use natural language for relations and flexible judgment, and deterministic mechanisms for concrete operations where the boundary warrants them. An edited instruction or Skill may be the complete implementation. An inaccessible draft may need a retrieval path; a difficult comparison may need an interface keeping alternatives visible. Repair conflicts and remove displaced machinery rather than surrounding it with another layer.

Give each consumer enough context and reason to perform its contribution independently. Different contracts or observed behavior can justify different instructions; model names alone do not. The environment account records which routes fit here, without introducing a registry or background rewrite service. Existing permissions, consent, safety, and publication authority retain their scope.

Relation to authoring and management methods

Yinyang connects purpose and situated understanding with the contribution an environment should make. Specialist Skills keep their domain methods and task responsibilities. General interaction belongs at its shared instruction source, teaching at its teaching method, and tool behavior at its tool or workflow. Link these owners rather than copying their procedures or personal portraits.

For prompts and Skills, use the actual environment's authoring method; where available, prompt-and-skill-lifecycle supplies review, packaging, publication, and readback. An advisory counterpart and an execution owner have different operational responsibilities. Helpers receive bounded relevant context under the entrypoint's personal-model boundary. Philosophy creates no extra authority.

Let realization correct the account

Implement through the actual source and publication route, then read back what the intended consumer receives. Check behavior through the real public entrypoint, or a faithful isolated substitute when appropriate. A changed source establishes an edit; retrieval establishes availability. Acceptance also needs the relevant observable consequence.

For the return-to-writing example, inspect an actual return in an authorized task. Does the open claim lead to the correct passage and a usable contribution? If the instruction never reaches the model, investigate delivery or precedence. If it is followed but adds only recap, revise the interpretation of support. If a finished passage displaces wanted practice, reconsider the division of participation. These outcomes call for different repairs.

Keep planned and realized arrangements distinct. An unavailable route may need repair; persistent poor fit may challenge the person account, relationship, or orientation. A record preserves material, action changes work, relief concerns experience, and development concerns what the person can understand or do, including through dependable supports. The participation essay develops their different grounds. One successful task cannot establish them all.

Use the revision guide's result and revision guidance to carry necessary changes through their owners and compare the intended result with what is available. Keep private locators and extended evidence with their private owners. This account condenses a richer, changing environment; a work can finish while the arrangement remains revisable.
